“I don’t have to chase extraordinary moments to find happiness.
It’s right in front of me if
I’m paying attention and practicing gratitude.”

Small mundane thoughtless moments are filled with inner peace when approached with gratitude and humility.
We need sometime each day when the mind is empty, focused and expansive.
Happiness is not found in chasing pleasure but in giving and gratitude.
Jealousies disappear in the broth of gratitude.

Thanks for that reminder. Yeah, even simply enjoying my coffee right now is good.

It is all there is for that moment.
Why cloud it with any of the 60,000 thoughts that cross our paths daily.
Cognition is a very small capability of the mind. The right side without thought is the expansive, opportunistic, limitless feel.

Ha! Yes, I bet it could be 60,000 thoughts per day! I admit I played with counting a few times. That sure turned out to be unfun. I’m with you that whole brain living works better.
