My two cents: Actions (effort) and attitude are under our control, results are way above our pay grade.
.
.
We erroneously judge our self worth based on results.
.
.
Self worth in daily life is linked more to effort, actions and attitude.

.

You do not have to win, conquer, accomplish, possess or acquire anything  to be happy right now.

.

.

We get consumed with feelings of unworthiness, craving approval then losing our center, our true perfect self.

.

.

Doubt, worry, fear, guilt and jealousy are the emotional slime we wallow in.

This hits home in my current situation with major surgery still 3 months away. Adjusting to limitations, and sometimes frustrated by lack of ability to achieve what I want and used to be able to.

Grateful my situation is temporary – maximum effort to achieve what I can without guilt and keeping a positive attitude, not focusing on the things I cannot do now.

  2. Good luck

Life challenges us and is harsh at times
