Attitude and Avoidance

.
.
Our minds attach to negative input like Velcro.
.
.
One critical comment may ruin an incredible day of enjoyment.
.
.
When we grasp and make judgments on this negative input, worry proliferates.
.
.
When we worry, we steer our life away from danger. We avoid and become rigid.
.
.
Avoidance fuels our fear, creating more things to worry about.
.
.
Mindfulness/Meditation will not eliminate life’s fears or worries.
.
.
Our practice allows us to minimize the time we suffer.
.
.
When we can observe our fears and worries, detached, this present moment, empty of thought becomes available.
.
.
We practice strengthening our focus to stay present, to observe and then let go of worry, doubt, fear and other emotions.
