Mindfulness is a gentle inward observation, a quiet inspection of the inner world, an introspection of body functions.

If we can observe the fight or flight mechanism (adrenal stress response) as a spectator, (detached, focused, relaxed) life will change.
.
.
Understand the mechanism organically not cognitively, and it will become your friend.
.
.
You will not have to react to imaginary fear again!
.
.
Imaginary fear: Fear created by dissociation, trauma, negative thought, judgment, worry, unworthiness and doubt.
.
.
Our ability to respond to real danger increases exponentially.
.
.
Having our fight or flight mechanism firing constantly because of trauma or fear exhausts the entire body.
.
.
Eventually we become frozen, avoiding life, isolating from daily participation.
.
.
The quickest way to heal is to befriend our fear mechanism.
.
.
