Become intimate with your breath

image

What does that mean?
.
.
It means you are connected to all four parts of the breath cycle.
.
.
If you want to reach a no thought stage, a place where thoughts have cleared while focusing on the breath, then stay connected with each inhale, pause (transition), exhale and pause.
.

.
The mind wants to go fast and handle complex thought.
.
.
It takes practice to slow the mind, to let it empty of thought.
.
.
Start with one breath, the basic building block of meditation.
.
.
Master one breath, then expand it to three, then ten.
.
.
Try tracing your breath with this model.
.
.
Start at the lower right hand corner with your inhale, then first pause, followed by the exhale and finished with a balancing pause.
