Our purpose, while meditating (practicing mindfulness) is to build focus on the breath, enabling us to reach a no thought stage.
.
.
We reach no thought by letting go, not by control or coercion.
.
.
The more we try not to think, the more thought proliferates.
.
.
Letting go takes practice, discipline and courage.
.
.
Letting go is to scary for some, the nervous system dominates life.
.
.
We build our focus when things are calm, so when thing erupt we can accept, let go and relax.
.
.
It takes practice.
