Keep track of the time spent in the past versus time spent in the moment, now.
.
.
The more time spent in this present moment, the better chance for peace, calm, joy, freedom and happiness.
.
.
If we think, be sure to direct our thought.
.
.
Do not let the mind wander, meander aimlessly in thought.
.
.
Rick Hanson in “Buddhas Brain” says the mind has a negative axis, slant.
.
.
Of the 60,000 daily thoughts that enter our consciousness, we are attracted to the negative thoughts. It is similar to nightly news or a car crash, we slow down and have to witness.
.
.
What fires together wires together. Where we place our attention grows, where we withhold withers and dies.
.
.
Attach to negativity and perception becomes reality.
.
.
Where we place our attention dominates our thoughts and therefore life.
