Accomplishment or acceptance!

A common belief about meditation is that we accomplish something,  we change our unworthiness, our demons.
.
.
The practice is the opposite, it is about letting go.
.
.
Acceptance is our vehicle for healing, for being present, for being happy.
.
.
We accept our practice when thoughts invade our calm.
.
.
We relinquish judgment, our bias, our performance review of our practice.
.
.
Maybe a session filled with thoughts, filled with us letting go and coming back to our breath is far more productive than judged.
.
.
It is hard to let go, to accept unworthy feelings, to accept all of us right now.
.
.
We always think we need to accomplish something, to attain something, to overcome something.
.
.
Surrender, let go, accept.
.
.
It is simple, not easy.
.
.
It takes daily practice, awareness and persistence to detail.
