Since nothing exists on its own, independent without relationships with other things, people or situations,
.
.
………………………………..gratitude is highly desirable.
.
.
A funny thing about gratitude, judgment has to leave the building for it to flourish.
.
.
If I evaluate my life, my existence, my possesssions, my status and see how lucky, how grateful, how thankful and how appreciative I am, judgement starts to fade.
.
.
Gratitude leads to giving, away from negative judgment.
.
.
Jealousy, greed, insecurity, inferiority, and unhappiness disappear.
.
.
Desire and need arrive with perspective and balance.
.
.
Our needy ego takes a back seat on our journey through life.
.
.
Finding gratitude, being truly thankful for the small blessings in life changes us.
.
.
First we develop awareness, followed by acceptance, then gratitude has a chance to flourish.
.
.
Giving becomes the next spiritual progression for us.
.
.
By the time we understand happiness is connected to others, to giving, to becoming compassionate and caring, the ego has faded for periods of our day.
.
.
Spiritual growth happens in stages and gratitude is an important step.
