A path toward kindness (happiness), that off ramp is always open, available for all.

Gratitude has unlimited possibilities, opportunities galore, constantly waiting for attention and action.

Desire or Gratitude, our choice.

Suffering and discontent or happiness and freedom.

You can find a nugget of gratitude in the most unlikely and surprising ways. Every year I plant Morning Glory’s next to my front door. A vine with a beautiful huge Blue, a true blue trumpet flower. This whole season babied it, kept it water through the brutal heat. It flourished, but no flowers. As the green of the plant started to fade I was going to cut it down. Disappointed I missed its bloom. Never happened in 20 years. The day before the pruning was particularly brutal at work and as I approached my front door, what greeting me was a beautiful blue trumpet flower. i broke out in a big smile and tears rolled down my face. My golden nugget. The fading green is still producing beautiful blue flowers.

  2. Happiness is found in mundane thoughtless moments.
