“Receive each moment without trying to connect one moment to the next”: …. Rick Hanson

This is a great visual, a more specific way of understanding dissociation (rumination), doubt and worry.
.
.
If we do not connect one moment to the next, all that remains is this present moment and a heightened awareness.
.
.
If we do not connect one moment to the next, dissociation,
doubt and worry die.
.
.
For the average person, it would be impossible
to live like this, however we can always come back to now throughout the day.
.
.
Making a habit of
coming back to now,
brings enormous change.
.
.
A small, simple action.
.
.
Rick Hanson describes it like this:
.
“Notice the spacelike qualities of awareness: it is boundless, still and silent, empty until something appears, vast enough to hold anything, always present and reliable, and never altered by the mind-objects passing through it like shooting stars.”
.
.
Sounds like a virtual Internet class, unlimited space for participation, boundless in size.
