Want to heal? Two Simple recommendations….

The belief that only one person is giving in this picture is a delusion. From one who has done this,,the homeless give back gratitude, heartfelt gratitude in fact, pure thankfulness that someone cares. It has touched me and left an indelible mark.

One;
.
.
Give,
.
.
give

.
.
some more,
.
.
then
.
.
give till,
.
.
it hurts.
.
.
.
Two;
.
.
Sit quietly,
.
.
focusing
.
.
on the breath,
.
.
until,
.
.
letting go
.
.
is habit.

.
.

Simple things have innate strength when practiced daily.
.
.
A jagged rock, whose corners are sharp, softens at such a slow pace, requiring such an effort and volume of water to accomplish this smoothing task.
.
.
It is basic though, water, action and friction,,,,similar to mindfulness, letting go, and emptiness (the lack of any friction).
.
.
One changes the physical nature of the thing (rock) and one changes nothing, it just empties itself of debris.

  1. I especially like the example of giving — it indeed isn’t only the giver, but the homeless tend to show their gratefulness for even the simpliest things we take for granted — and give gratitude from a pure, organic and heartfelt place. I love that feeling of connectedness; we are all connected on our planet called Earth! 🙂

    I agree with Brendaline.

I heard a quote “When you get, give. When you learn, teach”.Throw in gratitude and it will change your life, how you see it, and how you live, giving you moments of joy and happiness. Awareness.
