“Why do processing skills deteriorate under similar conditions as perceptual processing?
.
We must remember that processing skills (analysis and evaluation) are dependent upon perceptual input.
.
If the perceptual input decreases, cognitive processing will automatically be affected.
.
It appears that increased heart rates create a catastrophic effect on perceptual skills, cognitive processing skills, reaction time and motor skill performance.”

.
Can you say “Frozen”.
.
This is the essence of a trigger exploding, real biological fear, real chemicals being dumped, cortisol and adrenaline, but unreal, distorted or delusional emotional storyline.
.
It is a disorder, a threat from an implicit memory, stored in the amygdala, it sees real danger and over rides the prefrontal cortex, thus reacting, fleeing, attacking on delusion.
.
When you are triggered, take a breath, step back, let the storyline go and follow the body sensations.
.
It is only the mechanism tasked for saving our life, preparing for lethal threat.
.
It is a miracle of sorts, like the mind and life.
.
Without the storyline, fear has no fear in the mechanism, that emotional stuff is added by the ego and its bias.
.
You need not trust me, just let go and see for yourself.
