Update responses:___The Breathing Track: Why Simplicity and Concrete Action Heal!!!

The Breathing Track

If you really want to heal, then simple, concrete practice skills need to be made habit by daily work.

-

Words, thoughts or abstract theory do not heal without action!  If you do not see improvement in a couple of months then time to take a look at our healing.

-

Do you keep track of the time spent lost in thought?  How can we improve if we are not aware of the cause of our suffering?

-

Every effort needs to be applied to stay present, letting go of thoughts now.  Now!!!

-

I see so much suffering with those who write 1000 page posts on their situation or symptoms.  They are so used to dissociating that it appears normal to them.

-

This triggers us and stops any healing momentum.  I healed not thinking about my dad, my trauma, my childhood, my self-worth, my worry and doubt.

-

How about you?

I have a question about the healing track. Is it a symbol for breathing in, observing the transition, breathing out, observing the transition? Or do you trace it with your finger or something?

I also have a question about healing. I have been focusing on the phrase “let go,” relaxing my muscles, and orienting to my breathing. It feels very healing, most of the time, but there’s this weird side effect. Unfortunately it seems like my triggers are getting stronger, more intense. As I stay present with them it’s almost pure agony. Maybe more “deep stuff” is working its way out? I’m having more childlike feelings, a sense of low self-esteem, a sadness. It’s never been quite so “deep-feeling.” What do you think – is this possible? (The alternative is that it’s just getting worse – which I have to doubt.)

  2. An analogy would be running cross country with every event different or we go to a track where all events are the same. Running has not changed, we are running on a model. The breathing track is a model we try to get the mind to slow down with the tempo of the breath.

The mind wants to go fast and rush and not be present. you can start eyes open tracing it with your finger. This is all there is to it. As you get familiar close your eyes and follow the whole breath. place your whole focus on the breath. be with your breath, train the mind to focus on the breath without thought.

You are healing not getting worse. let go of thinking or resisting. Surrnder to the fear and it will evaporate. You are getting close and taking action.

The breathing track will let you complete the journey with security and ease. keep going towards the fear. Accept then surrrender, do. NOt resist

  3. The delusion is behind the next curtain or the next one. it seems sointnse because trauma is gasping for it’s life. Keep applying pressure. Stay present and starve the PTSD now.

    Very nice you are aware.
