Childhood trauma sentences most individuals to a life of misery and suffering. Their lives are filled with misunderstanding, fear and resentment. The terror of their childhood never leaves their consciousness for any period of time.
An invisible prison of avoidance and fear were built to protect the individual from trauma. It has isolated and intensified the pain and symptoms felt by us.
-
For some reason these suffering PTSDers never take action, always with some justification. This path is filled with avoidance, scared and resentful daily living.
-
PTSD discussion boards are filled with individuals like this. Suffering and hopelessness set in. Life narrows as we isolate and resent our abuse.
-
Healing or even being present would be a miracle at this point. I did not witness anyone improve at all on these boards. The common denominator is lack of action.
-
Please take some small daily action to heal. How do you know if you are healing?
