For Today, Can We not judge our meals, others driving and us!

Albert Kahn Portraits

A simple practice skill today for exploring the shift in feel and emotion between judging and just being present..

While eating today, try resisting comparing this food with any other meal you have had in the past.

If we catch ourselves comparing the food, then we can let the judgment go, providing an opportunity to witness the difference.

Judging engages our ego and ownership, hence we need to defend any judgments  we make.

Bring awareness with keen observation to feel the bodies reaction in sensations, electrical jolts, spasms, or maybe pain to our judgments.  Observe how fleeting and impermanent thought, emotions and feelings are, as they fade quickly without attention.

  1. This is a great example, getting in the habit of a non-judgemental mindset with food! Great practice!
