Be aware of the mind accelerating into a hurry up mode. This speedy space destroys my awareness, quickly. Hurrying, just to get things done, blurs reality with life feeling plastic for me.
My practice brought awareness to many small things. Preparing dinner became a way to enter the chopping space. Intuitively, my intention was to prepare the best meal with the ingredients on hand. As each slice was made with a relaxed but intense focus, time disappeared. Awareness brought a calm, soothing feeling of completeness.
I was totally present, one with my actions (chopping) and in a tranquil space. Try this with neutrally charged tasks and observe your awareness. Practice to improve and feel more comfortable. Take action, you can not fail. Trust me!

I love this, I apply this when I make cookies. My mind definitely tries to rush through everything. From taking a shower, to driving, everything. I love the little moments to bring awareness to the present moment. These small steps help me grasp whats possible here.
